Dürst Britt & Mayhew is honoured to present Jacqueline de Jong‘s (1939) first solo exhibition at the gallery.
She is revered for founding, editing and publishing The Situationist Times in the 1960s.
Her publishing, painting and sculpture endeavours span over five decades and are as vital, provocative and contradictory as ever.
The exhibition will show various paintings and pastels from the 1960s up to now.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a specially commissioned essay by Margriet Schavemaker,
Head of Collections and Research at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
